About 1,300 runners took over Bush's Pasture Park on Saturday for the 34th running of Willamette University's Charles Bowles Invitational cross country meet.

Willamette's Maddie Coffman won the the Women's cardinal race — featuring NCAA Division II, III and NAIA runners — with teammate Jena Winger taking third.

Coffman ran with Mikayla Murphy of UC Santa Cruz most of the race, pulling away before.....
